It's our honor to serve for you, sincerely hope we can deal with you next time.

I gather your with mks and i do keep messaging frank on aliexpress but get very vague replies, My issues are with the tft lack of capabilities and potential it could have there is no way for anyone to develop more functional actions on it not just to able to changing the button images, the config i can't read proper as its half Chinese and English, im trying to change my tft sayin i have e1 when it should say e0 but hard to read the Chinese titles of the functions, it would be nice to see a way to put a qwerty keyboard and a way to manually put gcode in

Extruder is on display is E1, when connect first time i have -42 celsius reading I have connect to E0 for heater cartridge and E1 for thermistor, On display missing many icon comparing with tft2,8" can not get autolevel , This days I will need to order one more motherboard ,,Smotiebord Sbase and 2,8 tft looking much better option.I have 2 Sbase working perfect ..Mks Robin is cheaper option but need more developing for firmware,This is not open source and not supported by community,,Some thing you must do it yourself or wait for Markebase team.

Hello

I have AndcivCM3G3 used motherboard for sale,,,Included color TFT display,Flat cable and new LCD display in spare,,,Price is 60 usd + shipping,,,I pay board and lcd display 150 usd on Taobao,I rebuild my Mingda Glitar4c and convert to Smothieware machine ,This board i will not use any more,All available doc will leave on sd card ,,Documentation is mostly on Chinese lenguage and Andciv support is poor ,,
Finaly i found why i have incorrect hot bed reading temperature,,,In config file extuder sensor is 1 and hotbed 0 ,,on motherboard all jumpers are set to thermocupler,,it is pity that Mingda manufacturer do not know set correct position of jumpers ,It cause burning of littlefuse termal protection on board 2 time,,,I have 3 fuse in spare,
Stepper motor current setting, digital control CM3G3 use the touch screen can be changed directly, the formula is: nominal current /0.007= setpoint...all my mottors were overloaded when i have Mingda settings

Full review and most of available doc for download you have on [www.nanjixiong.com]
,,
Firmware and display firmware i post before. If any one have new version please post,I do not have long time contact with Mingda and Andciv .

Has the board 3.3v power enough to feed ESP8266 (512)?
I connected my ESP to 3.3v endstop jumper pin. Is it safe for a long run?

If anyone in the states want one, I'm selling my SBASE v1.2. It's been modded with stable oscillators (I'm the one who discovered the initial issue), and the DRV8825s are forced into fast decay mode to allow the use of low inductance steppers with 24v, so no need to mess with diodes. In my opinion mixed decay on the DRV8825 is useless...

I was using this board on a 24v Kossel 250 with 0.9deg steppers. After modding to fast decay mode it's nice and smooth and no problems with up to 300mm/sec moves...which with 0.9deg steppers is pushing the 100MHz MCU.

Flawless condition and rock solid stable. $50 PayPal shipped anywhere in the US and its yours.

I'm really disappointed with this board. Everything installed, edge version running and all seems ok but...

Im having horrible, I mean really horrible high pitch noise coming from the motors. Would you mind to share how you forced to fast decay mode?

I suspect is coming from the drivers. Tried different settings, tried 1/16 and nothing.

Has anyone else found a solution for that?

Cheers,

Raph

well i have mine running at 12v and mine seem ok but I'm use to noise working with cncs all day but i believe its noiser at 24v, theres a mod im sure there is if you google it changing the decay mode

W3DRK probably used this method, but I think you are looking for this solution, because neither fast decay and mixed decay mode aren't a complete solution...Read through the blog, but take your time (and probably a couple cups of coffee ;) )
To make a long story short one should create a circuit with several 1N5404 or 1N5408 diodes for every axis

Hi, I found out Gibut Version 1.2.0
someone knows what implements from 1.1.5?
There is the possibility of the filament gearbox G-Code M600?
I am using MarlinKimbra.
I hope someone changes the icons of 1.2.0 that I find ugly.

I have the SBASE and I noticed that the 5V rail is always under-voltage, measured to be about 4.6-4.7V. This causes some optical endstops to not work because I have one that rated min 5V and cannot function on anything below 4.8V.

A few pages back someone else reported problems with optic sensors and I think they found a solution. Worth to dig it.

Thanks Billi3. Tested on 1N5408 and worked. Eliminated 95% of the noise. There is still some, but barely noticeable - That doesn't make me willing to kill myself any more.

Appreciate that.

That's great to hear. Especially the part of not wanting to commit suicide ;)

anyone with a physical picture of the cuircit they made for the diodes as im rubbish at looking at diagrams and find it easier to copy form a physical one thanks

Can you please provide more details about the fast decay modification? I guess you have to remove the passive heat sink which sits on top of stepper driver ICs.

Hi guys,

I was playing with my custom bmp_logo and I can't make it work, even though I was following the steps from how to customize logo guide.
I have attached bmp version of logo. When use that Img2Lcd software as per instructions and upload to the tft28. If someone can tell me what I am doing wrong?

I had trouble but i had to open paint and save it as a 16 bit bmp image for it to work also same settings as in the lcd2tft program

Thanks chriss
That did the trick. I was never too too comfortable with image file systems and definitions and now I am totally confused.
Why is it that softwares aren't in sync or am I wrong again? :))

Anyways thanks a bunch. I am back to designing.

Cheers

Tom,
Did you solve your problem with EXP3? I've been trying to find info on the EXP3 pinout for weeks, with no real leads.

Re: ATX supply to power RPi / RAMPS / OctoPi

Hi Guys,

I just installed my ATX power supply and wired everything as it should.

I have a problem:

I turn on the printer, connect to the printer via Repetier host. Ok so far.

I send M81 command. Printer turns off. Great.

I send M80 command...Nothing??

I tried with the standby 5v connected, disconnected, with diode D1 installed, D1 removed...same thing...

Any thought?

Thanks!
