Hi guys my reprap has been working perfect using a 20 amp 12v power supply just connected to the 5a input.
I wasn't using a headbed.
Now when i installed one, i ran the wires from the power supply to the 11a input on the ramps.
When i turned it on after a few seconds smoke started to rise from the board so i disconnected it straight away.
I'm not sure what to do now, I don't want to connect it again to see exactly where the smoke is coming from and end up damaging my electronics.
Can anyone help?
A 20a power supply connected to 5a and 11a should work ok yes?
I've to using it for a while connected to the 5a input and has been working perfect.
I'm not sure of the model of power supply, its just a 2x3 banks of 12v at 20a.
Picture attached.
