I have finished the hardware of my first reprap, a delta-pi. Now I'm starting with the firmware, I get a very strange problem. I can install the firmware (arduino software says the upload is OK), but is is not recognised by repetier host and the display does not work. These might be two separate problems, but I do not know that for sure. Hopefully one of you can point me in a direction where to look for a solution, as I am currently desperate for ideas...
What I tried so far
- the arduino came with some kind of test software on it. From this I got that all the hardware works.
- if I load the arduino with a simple program (LED on/off routine) it works
- I get the same situation with different builds of firmware, both marlin and repetier
