Hi! Replicape is now on pre-sale in the Thing-printer store: [www.thing-printer.com] It is a BeagleBone Black cape that makes the BBB into a very powerful 3D-printer electronics package.
As far as I know this is one of the most powerful boards so far, enabling a fancy 3D user interface (Toggle preview: [www.youtube.com]) and a web interface (http://octoprint.org/). The board runs a standard Linux distro and uses the on board 200 MHz PRUs for hard real-time control of the stepper motors. Microstepping controlled via SPI and stepper current controlled via a DAC.
