I can keep the SPI header, and I'm trying to keep the BOM as similar as possible (hoping that someone who's building the RAMPS-FD might build a few of the BeagleBone version to see if they sell).
I'll assign what I/O I have to some other connectors and leave it at that. The SD card and LCD / Panel interface isn't such a huge issue with the BeagleBone since there's on-board SD/eMMC, USB, and HDMI. It's still potentially handy to have a small LCD or buttons or whatever, so I'll definitely pinout any free pins so they can be accessed.
