Re: Driver and stepper getting hot really fast, but working

I just tried connecting y axis stepper to x axis on ramps, and x to y also.
The same thing happened to the x axis driver and Y axis motor.
So its not the stepper or cable as the y axis/x motor did not heat up.

Is there something on the ramps board that could get fried for just one axis, and how would I test it?
