Thanks for the reply!

This is all a bit new to me so please bare with me on this questions.

First off, I did some digging on heat mats, and everything I saw was around either for under flooring, or for seedlings. What type of heat mat would work for this application?

Second, I am not sure I understand how to execute connecting the mat to the RAMPS MOSFET via a solid state relay. Can you either elaborate for someone pretty lay in electronics, or point me in the direction of a post or blog or something else that I can read how to do such a thing?
