DC42 & Dust,
Thanks for your Suggestions, they led me to where I needed to be. The problem occurred during a print which led me towards a hardware problem. Looking back at my Configuration.h file there was something that had been bothering me. To calibrate the X & Y axis I printed 10mm cubes, measured them & then calculated correction factors for the "calibration variables" line. The X-axis correction factor was 1/2 of the Y-axis calibration factor. My thought is that one of the jumpers on the RAMPS board under the stepper driver was not making good contact. So I pulled the stepper driver & reset all 3 jumpers. Then I set the X-axis calibration factor the same as the Y-axis & reprinted a calibration cube. Voila It works. One of the jumpers under the X-axis stepper board must not have been well seated.
Thanks again.
Dennis.
