Hi There,
I'm currently re-spinning the Gen-7 board to add support for additional things, (descriptive, I know), and I'd like to add some more stepper drivers. To be honest, I'm a Cadence/Altium man, and only touch gEDA when I absolutely have to, so I could be missing something, BUT: I don't see the footprint for the Pololu Stepper component in the ./packages folder?
Got all my stuffs from here:
[github.com]
Here's the error that I see when I update the PCB layout:
"
Elements missing from layout
The footprints for the following elements were not found.
Please check the 'footprint' attribute for these elements:
U50 (footprint=POLOLUSTEPPER-1)
"
terminal output:
ls -l ./packages/ | grep stepper
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 2605 Aug 25 11:58 pololustepper-1.sym
(schematic symbol only, unless its somehow an integrated library? I don't remember getting that impression from the raw file). Let me know if I'm missing something, and, if not, please update the repo! (Yes I can make my own. No, I'm not going to, because I'm busy : ) ) Thank you!
Steve
