1. Dedicated 12V PSU (this one: [www.ebay.co.uk]) 2. 529 watts 3. 24 ampéres 4. 12a to 17a, it is connected to the PSU directly with a relais in between to switch on/off with sanguino signal 5. Marlin...

Oh, that makes more sense. It is actually quite ingenious :)-D I might have to try designing a stackable stepper.
View ArticleRe: Sanguino v1.0 bootloader frustration (with much detail!) [SOLVED]
I'm having this same problem with trying to install a bootloader onto my newly built Sanguino using a ATmega1284P chip. However, I didn't have a resonator to use with my Sanguino 1.3a pcb build, so I...

lol. found this on another site while searching for this: good caps, but they're labeled 104 ... which is 100nf instead of the 20-20pf that I should be using. Yes putting that value of cap on a...

Hi, I'm printing now for a few weeks with the G3D Budaschnozzle and I've had good results. Now since a few days I have some weird effect in my Repetier Host, the temperature goes up less quick than...

Hi fellow: Im posting this because I dont have a typical circuit test for this steppe. So I decided write an e-mail to company for support if they have the schematic circuit, BUT i had respond from...

... can you show the connector PCB with more details? If all 5 pins are connected, then the motor could be an unipolar stepper - then it steps when the coils are single energized, not in pairs as with...

... from the datasheet it's a common bipolar with BLACK/BROWN for coil A and ORANGE/YELLOW for coil B and pulling between 0.3A to 0.5A of current. So any bipolar stepper driver should work, if you...

AFAIK minebea doesnt sell to end users like us. They make custom stepper motors for other companies. Therefore end user support is not their "thing". Which probably explains the behavior. That stepper...

Datasheet is 4 wire, but the picture shows 5 wire. Maybe datasheet could be from something else. Just to be sure, should measure with multimeter to see if the 5th wire is common or not. If it is...

Hmm, I have very similar symptoms, with quite different setup, so it may not be firmware or electronics related. I will try a spare hotend and see what happens.

Thermistor is a voltage sensor. Very susceptible to noise from high-power sources. (like a heating resistor) This is the mostly likely reason you are seeing the temperature jump around.
View ArticleRe: Signs of a failing Thermistor?
I don't think so, because it wasn't doing it before, and the firmware does filter out high-frequency noise on the ADC. It also happens when the extruder is heating up and is 100% on, there is no noise...

I think it is a 5 wire unipolar, I have similar ones. I guess that it is a discontinued version that Minebea no longer make, but they have kept the model number and replaced it with 4 wire bipolar...

Which thermistor and thermistor table have you got selected? The fact that it's jumping around could mean that you've got the wrong table selected, or that the table is not calibrated well (gaps...
