bobc: For the 11A rating, there are NO PTC fuses available from Bourns that have a rating greater than 16V, which is the whole problem - they simply don't go that high. And you can't run them in parallel or series easily to share the current or voltage rating, due to the way they work internally.
Great! Did they say if they are going to rework existing stock, or make the change to future builds? IOW, if someone buys one today, will they get fuseholders or PTCs?
It's not important, but other people make PTC fuses apart from Bourns, e.g. TE. They look very similar, and I don't know what make they might have used.
