Did you ever find a solution to this?

Re: Sanguish development

I've got two boards built for Sanguish 1.0 that I am currently testing and it is going well. I'll update the wiki soon. The final 1.0 version is essentially unchanged from the 1.0 RC1 linked in the...

Re: Heated Bed Safety Issues

Thanks for the input! I had a look around for the "resettable thermal fuses" that you mention and can't seem to find anything like that -what I keep finding seems to be more concerned with current and...

Re: hosted thermistor reading high:S

I replaced the thermistor and it seems to be reading correctly now. Not sure if the thermistor was faulty or the install in the hotend was ( air bubble etc).

Re: Heated Bed Safety Issues

Search for "thermostat", or contact thermostat or surface thermostat, something like this one. Its the old principle of bimetalic component which swings one side or the other because each metal has...

Re: Heated Bed Safety Issues

Thanks for the information - I will have a look into these. We were thinking the same thing about the max temperature for the cutoff, that it should be the desired heated bed temperature (for example...

Heated bed out of control!

Hello. I'm using a RAMPS 1.4, the Marlin firmware and Repetier-Host for printing. I set up the heated bed max temperature for force stop in Marlin to 150 ĀŗC and the working temperature in...

Re: Heated bed out of control!

I hope you dont use pid control on heated bed. In the picture i see the fan is set to on. What pin is allocated to fan in config.h or pins.h for fan, could it be same pin as the heated bed? Or you do...

Re: Level shifter issues

Have a look at ZXGD3005E6TA. It's pretty low cost and has a peak output current of 10A. That's the absolute maximum of course, but it's still not bad.

Re: Choosing Thermistor based on table - Marlin

Hello, can you confirm that the table from Noobman (April 11, 2013 12:15PM ) is working with that thermistor? I ordered a new hotend too and i need a good marlin table for the B=3950/100K. Thanks.

Re: Level shifter issues

I did had a look at that some time ago when somebody else proposed it. The problem i see with that is that it is a current device, this is why datasheet has no VIH and VIL levels. It is controlled by...

Re: Choosing Thermistor based on table - Marlin

If you have a multimeter with a thermocouple, the very best thing you can do is start with that table (or any other that is sort of equidistant - see the temperatures column goes in 10C and 20C...

Minitronics max temperature

We're just finished building a custom made heated chamber and noticed that waiting around 50 minutes the chamber reached a temperature of 41 degrees (105 fahrenheit). Now we're wondering what them...

Re: Level shifter issues

So I had to do some sim to get a decent answer; thankfully, Diodes Inc. provides SPICE models for these devices. It turns out that the reason there's no VIH or VIL is that there isn't one. It's a pure...

Re: Minitronics max temperature

If you have a heated build chamber, you don't want your electronics inside. FET's (used to drive the heated bed/hot end) and the stepper drivers need to dissipate heat when they work, due to their...
