Re: Thermistors not worked properly

Finally, I found a solution of my problem with thermistors. I unsolder TL431 with 3 resistors, diodes 1N4148, changed R301,R302,R303,R501 with 4.7kOhm instead of 1kOhm, changed R502,R503,R504,R505 with 0R instead of 4.7kOhm. And all works as it should. To be honest, I do not really understand the purpose of TL431 and other components, that I unsolder, and why R301,R302,R303,R501 are 1kOhm instead of 4.7kOhm as on all other boards. Schematic of thermistor inputs in attached file. At first, I tried to make my own thermistor table, tried to change 1k resistors with 4.7k without unsolder other components, but it's not works properly.
Excuse my bad English.

Hi everybody

I am happy that you like the images that I have done.

[github.com]

I also add some commands for bed leveling associated custom buttons.

Working for me also. Nice work and thanks.

So what do we use to convert the .svg to .bin? I'm using Ubuntu so pretty much any app will work but I can't find anything using Google so I must be asking for something which doesn't make since.

I use Repetier Firmware and from the configuration's FEATURE_CONTROLLER constant variable I have selected the CONTROLLER_SMARTRAMPS:

#define FEATURE_CONTROLLER CONTROLLER_SMARTRAMPS

but the beep sound keeps on beeping? What seems to be the problem here?

this is the link to clearly see what problem I'm having with:

Help: MKS SBASE 1.3 Smoothieware Delta setup

Hello everyone, I just received my MKS SBASE v1.3 board and it looks promising so far. I am trying to setup my Delta with the board, I have a Micromake D1 printer, it has XYZ endstops on top and the z_probe with the effector. I have couple of questions regarding Smoothieware.

1. I have read that I have to put firmware.bin and config.txt in root of the SD and after power off/on, the firmware.bin should turn to firmware.cur. That never happens, however, whatever change I make in config.txt, it reflects on the functioning of the printer. Meaning, for example, if I change the feedrate, I can see the difference in speed when I home or manually jog. Is that normal?

2. I have set the gamma_max to 320.5 (that is the height from nozzle to bed while homed). However when I manually move the z axis all the way down to the bed, I get -320.5 instead of 0. What I have noticed is that when I manually jog Z axis down/up 100mm, it moves half of that. Any solution?

Thanks!

p.s I have also attached my config.txt

Hello everybody.
I found a strange thing (on delta)
If the official smoothie flash on mks sbase - trim for endstop not working.
rollback occurs regardless of the trim values.
rolls back to length homing_retract.
Help me, please!

If anyone in the states want one, I'm selling my SBASE v1.2. It's been modded with stable oscillators (I'm the one who discovered the initial issue), and the DRV8825s are forced into fast decay mode to allow the use of low inductance steppers with 24v, so no need to mess with diodes. In my opinion mixed decay on the DRV8825 is useless...

I was using this board on a 24v Kossel 250 with 0.9deg steppers. After modding to fast decay mode it's nice and smooth and no problems with up to 300mm/sec moves...which with 0.9deg steppers is pushing the 100MHz MCU.

Flawless condition and rock solid stable. $50 PayPal shipped anywhere in the US and its yours.

I'm really disappointed with this board. Everything installed, edge version running and all seems ok but...

Im having horrible, I mean really horrible high pitch noise coming from the motors. Would you mind to share how you forced to fast decay mode?

I suspect is coming from the drivers. Tried different settings, tried 1/16 and nothing.

Has anyone else found a solution for that?

Cheers,

Raph

Hi thanks for your reply. The reason I assigned gamma_min_endstop to a pin is to get auto bed leveling. I have a limit switch on the effector and it gets triggered when the nozzle touches the bed. Or am I doing it wrong?

you define the pin in the z probe section in the config

# optional Z probe
zprobe.enable false # set to true to enable a zprobe
zprobe.probe_pin 1.28!^ # pin probe is attached to if NC remove the !
zprobe.slow_feedrate 5 # mm/sec probe feed rate
#zprobe.debounce_count 100 # set if noisy
zprobe.fast_feedrate 100 # move feedrate mm/sec
zprobe.probe_height 5 # how much above bed to start probe
#gamma_min_endstop nc # normally 1.28. Change to nc to prevent conflict,

o lampe and Dust, thank you for your thoughts on adding a 3rd hot end/ extruder.

After some consideration I decided just to build new printer.
Although my current printer is printing well I decided I wanted to expand the print area.
I think it would be simpler to build a new printer while printing what parts I could on the existing printer.
I will be getting away from the current design and heading for a Core XYZ type with a Diamond hot end.
Should be interesting build.

Again, thank you for responding.

For those of you that have this board how is it? Any pros cons vs. a mks sbase or base board?

Re: RADDS work now stable with RepRap Firmware

Today I tried to print my first part with the delta/diamond/RADDS RRF v1.14 combo and observed a fault, I'd seen with other hotends before:
The extruder builds up pressure and works for awhile, but ( at a turning point of a track?) the stepper gets pushed backwards.
It's not a retraction. The stepper seems to loose torque ( gets disabled for a blink ?) and that causes the filament to grind through the extruder gears.

In marlin we had a feature to disable steppers when unused ( convenient for z-axis on a Prusa ) but in RRF v1.14 I haven't seen such parameter.
Is it a known bug? Maybe related to RAPS128?

As soon as someone ports it to an open source firmware, you have board & TFT for an unbeatable price, but until then....
