Re: RAMPS for Due!
The Iduino Due gives the 5V pin on the Ramps-fd probably 7.8V. Right?
View ArticleRe: issue of RAMPS-FD LCD adapter (with smart controller)
I would stick to a 74HC or 74AC chip. A 74LS chip running on 5V may not see 3.3V high voltage as "high", whereas a HC/AC chip should.

That all makes sense yeah. The honest truth though is that it just snapped because I tried to undo it without heating it first. It was stupid because I could feel it was too tight, and I've snapped a...

I don't have the adaptor. I was however involved with bobc on the design of the RAMPS-FD board, and the voltage trigger reason was why we use 74HC or 74AC parts elsewhere on the board (to go from 3.3V...

Hi Ketil 1. The A4982 stepper motor drvers are rated to 2A but they would need active cooling to get that sort of output, they easily drive the normal RepRap printer motors as they are well...

Hi zairus, i think, that duet has plugged the 1/16 directly (no). I will test the 1/128 Microstepperdriver with the RADDS Shield. In 2-3 Weeks it is for sold.

Hi Ketil No worries! As far as the heated BEd PSU is concerned that sounds fine, most "standard" heated beds only draw around 12A or so at 12V. That heating sounds about right - the normal things...
